DJ Lanre / Factory 78 grew up in Lagos Island, Nigeria. Listening to the radio, and DJing with my 'cassette' player. I didn't have turntables and vinyl, as they were so hard to get - I just used to dubb from the radio, spending hours perfecting my mix tapes. I moved to Dublin in the 90's and bought turntables, I became addicted to buying vinyl!  I live in London now and I still carry on doing my thing. From one little cassette player my studio has grown to include all the latest technology including music software and hardware. I still hang on to my vinyl even though MP3 has taken over.

I am a member of Naija DJs, a coalition of Nigerian DJs across the world. I DJ at parties and clubs playing Hip Hop, R&B, Soulful House, Afro Beat, Old School Soul, Neo Soul.

Glad to see you doing your thing, i am proud of you and keep up the good work.. i spoke to Ahmed thru email today and he told me to check you out on here. i will make sure i listen to your show every saturday from midnight-3am.. Kepping doing your thing..
